Background

Charlotte is a Georgia native, born and raised in Cobb County. Her father was an attorney, so she grew up in and around law. Charlotte worked in her father's law office on and off during high school and college and during the summers and absorbed all the legal knowledge he passed on.

After earning her Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Marketing from Kennesaw State University, Charlotte worked in retail management as a buyer for Macy's, then she owned and operated her own clothing store in Buckhead for several years. Charlotte returned to school at Georgia State University and earned a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics and became a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist.

Eventually, Charlotte returned to her roots in law and earned a paralegal certificate from Emory University. After working primarily as a bankruptcy paralegal for many years, she has worked almost exclusively in family law since 2008 and feels like this is home. Charlotte's parents divorced when she was a child and it had a profound impact on her life, so family law is near and dear to her heart. Charlotte has seen the devastating impact divorce can have on families, so she feels called to help alleviate pain for clients.

Charlotte calls Cherokee County home and has lived in Woodstock for 20 years with her husband of 25 years and their menagerie of dogs and cats. It's a wonderful life!
