Professional Experience:

After graduating from the University of Georgia School of Law, Kaitlin joined Meriwether & Tharp as an Associate.  Kaitlin attended the Massachusetts Institute of Technology where she studied Political Science and conducted research on political parties and election strategy.  Her coursework included statistical and qualitative analysis of human behavior and trends.  Kaitlin was awarded with the Undergraduate Political Science Thesis Award for MIT in 2004.  While attending the University of Georgia, Kaitlin was active in the Women Law Students’ Association and was a founding member of the Education Law Club.  She interned with the Georgia Department of Family & Children’s Services, and participated in a Special Education Practicum.  In the summer of 2006, Kaitlin clerked for the Office of the General Counsel of the United States Air Force.  Kaitlin’s varied experiences have provided her with tools necessary to help her clients understand and navigate the complexities of the legal system.  Kaitlin’s practice focuses on all areas of the firm’s family law practice, including divorce, modification of child custody and support, modification of alimony, and adoptions.
